Flat

In my adult life, each time I have gotten injured I had a flat tire earlier in the day.

The first time was back in Kansas.  I got a flat tire less than a mile from my house on my way to my first marathon.  I hadn’t hardly allowed enough time that morning to jack with it then so I limped it back home, still flat and asked my wife to drive me to the race.

About 25 minutes into the marathon (trail) I slipped in some mud and sprained my ankle.  I still completed the race, in 4 hours and 42 minutes.  But was in a lot of pain.  The Dr said it was as bad of a sprain as he had every seen, and told me it was pretty dumb to have continued to run on it.

Then yesterday, I got a flat on the way into work.  Last night while taking*Ding*
